
Chris Johnson, D.O.

Biography:
Dr. Johnson, an orthopedic oncologist who subspecializes in the surgical treatment of sarcoma and musculoskeletal tumors, skeletal metastatic disease, and complex joint reconstruction in patients of all ages. This includes bone and soft tissue sarcomas, benign bone and soft tissue tumors, and bony metastases from primary cancers.
He is the Chair of the Sarcoma and Musculoskeletal Tumor Program at Parkview Cancer Institute. Dr. Johnson coordinates research and clinical trials related to sarcoma and tumor patients. Dr. Johnson is a member of the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society (MSTS), Connective Tissue Oncology Society (CTOS), and American Association Hip & Knee Society (AAHKS). Dr. Johnson completed medical school and orthopedic surgery residency training at Michigan State University and a fellowship in orthopedic oncology at the University of Washington in Seattle.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, three boys, and extended family. His favorite hobbies include sports, music, traveling, and cooking.
