Kellye Mitros
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Kellye graduated from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana with a degree in Humanistic Studies. At Saint Mary's, she served as class treasurer during her sophomore and junior years, and as Student Body President her senior year. Following graduation, Kellye worked for thirteen years in her father's orthopaedic practice in South Bend, where she became familiar with issues facing today's practitioners, patient care, and the advocacy work of IOS. Outside the office, Kellye sits on the board of the South Bend Civic Theatre and has volunteered for several local charities including Saint Margaret's House, Ronald McDonald House, and Logan Center. She is also quite involved with local politics and is a delegate for the Indiana Democratic Party. Kellye is also a committed blood donor for the South Bend Medical Foundation, and has donated over 400 units of platelets over the years. |
